Victory!
A while back, Zazzle removed all of my Grok merchandise from my shop. When I inquired, I found that they had done so at the request of the Heinlein Trust, which controls all of Robert Heinlein’s literary works. At the time, I sent the Heinlein Trust a letter letting them know that all of the materials flagged for removal were parodies of the word Grok with various sayings and song lyrics...

Anonymous asked: Dusty made a piece with candy in a style he had worked in before. I think that was the main reason he got cut. Even though I am not a big fan of Young, his work showed a strong conceptual idea while Dusty's was too simplistic.

Work of Art: Poor Dusty!
I was sad to see Dusty get booted off of Work of Art: The Next Great Artist. He has a lot of integrity and he’s a genuinely good guy judging from what we saw of him. He is an art teacher for kids. Of COURSE his style is going to be a bit more simple than your average pretentious artsy-fart from New York. But, unlike a lot of those cranks, he was REAL and that’s what I liked about him. ...

Update On Kaylee
There is now a new place to donate for Kaylee which has a goal monitor: http://txpyrs.chipin.com/surgery-for-kaylee-texas-great-pyrenees-rescue . The fabulous news is that, thanks to all of you helping spread the word, Kaylee’s goal is now 88% covered. Now we just need that last push to pay the wonderful veterinarian treating her.
